01 – Regional: Limburg to Weilburg

Villmar: The market town has become famous for its marble / limestone quarrying and the unique marble bridge over the Lahn. The bridge leads to the former mining area with sights such as the Lahn marble museum and the “Unicabruch”, which has a smooth sawn and sanded Wall offers a unique view of a Middle Devonian stromatopore reef (380 million years old) in living position.
