01 – Regional: Limburg to Weilburg

Limburg: The city has more to offer than just the Limburg Cathedral. You can find all tourist information and excursion destinations here .

Villmar: The market town has become famous for its marble / limestone quarrying and the unique marble bridge over the Lahn. The bridge leads to the former mining area with sights such as the Lahn marble museum and the “Unicabruch”, which has a smooth sawn and sanded Wall offers a unique view of a Middle Devonian stromatopore reef (380 million years old) in living position. In the Weyer district, archaeologists found Stone Age finds, pre-Christian burial grounds, burial mounds and ring walls dating back to the time of the Romans to the Bronze Age (2,200 BC). 05 – Supraregional: Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis

Rüdesheim am Rhein: At the southernmost tip of the Rheingau – Taunus district is the city of Rüdesheim, known for its good wines. Take a detour into the famous Drosselgasse or take the cable car up to the Niederwald monument. From there you have a great view over the Rhine Valley. 06 – Supraregional: Rhein-Lahn-Kreis

Bad Ems: Visit the spa town and its dreamlike idyll and paddle across the Lahn by pedal boat. In the surrounding area you will find many excursion destinations for the family, such as the Gackenbach wildlife and leisure park or the Marksburg castle in Braubach.

Sankt Goarshausen: Visit probably the most famous slate rock in Germany, the Loreley, and let yourself be enchanted by the legend surrounding the rock. 10 – major cities: Wiesbaden

Wiesbaden: The capital of Hesse offers you a lot of sights and a stroll feeling. For example, take the Nerobergbahn to the highest mountain of the same name in the city and overlook the city’s vineyards. After a stroll through the city, let your mind wander and relax in the spa gardens. It was created there in the style of English landscape gardens in 1852.
