290 km – 19 stages – start: Lahnquelle in Netphen, finish: Lahnstein
The Lahnwanderweg is something like the “multicultural trail” among the German long-distance hiking trails. It always follows the Lahn from its source in the Sauerland region of North Rhine-Westphalia through Hesse to where it flows into the Rhine at Lahnstein in Rhineland-Palatinate.
